crappies are primary catch from late morning til dark, but mostly shut down at late afternoon.
can't find the monster gills still this year.
good to have a buddy that owns a cabin on the lake.
spent four days looking for the gills, but came home with lots of crappies. got a few smaller gills and one devil fish on a tip up.
rose lake is good ice too, but thats from the locals fishing with us on diamond.
