I have a vex fl-22 and was planning on putting it on the boat soon and was wondering what y'all think is the best way to go with it? Under the troller, transum or what? Thanks.

I've thought of getting the transducer made to shoot through the bottom of an aluminum boat floor. Suppose it could be mounted along a board and clamped over the back end.

If you have a bow mount trolling motor get a xducer and put it there. With a short rod ( 4-5 ft) its just like ice fishing.
