I haven't been in to Cowpar yet this year.  I hope to get in there this weekend, after checking with the CNRL plant operator to find out what the lake is like(and how fishing has been).

My old man works for CNRL, what a coincidence.

In winter, Cold Lake for lakers(10min from my house), Little Bear for rainbow trout (put and take lake) and Eithel for Pike. In summer I like to fly fish N. Ram River, Black Stone River and Elk creek.

Keep us posted on the fishing around Brooks. Haven't fished there in years but a trip up from the Hat don't take that long.

I'd like to know about these spots. Don't think I am very familair with them, but would definetely like to hit them. What do they have in them? Is it good fishing? Any of these lakes you can keep a Walleye out of? Where are they?

Thanks,

Boys, the ice is forming quickly!!!  You had better get your gear ready, because I have been digging holes on "Mile 7" and catching rainbows.
