Hey Bill, as a moderator of this forum, i think you are obliged to share a picture of a giant char you have caught this winter!

 

Well normally I would have no problem but this season hasn't been a good one for me from my fishing partner having knee surgery (my wife) from every appliance that I owned broke and had to repair other than the stove, to my water bed sprung a leak and my lazyboy chair broke, both of our vehicles broke down, to the last of my bad luck (hopefully) my primary clutch on my snowmobile completely blew up and took out my secondary clutch. This has all happened since December 4.  I have only been out 1/2 a dozen times and twice went laker fishing and have been skunked. So I put away my ice fishing gear for this year and just working to save money to fix everything. That's enough crying about me where are your big fish pics this year? How was your season?

Jezee Bill, that sucks.    I hope the fish gods are good to you next season.  I think they will be good to me      I got into SOOT lake this year, (after 2 years of working on the trail)  and we tried a few new lakes with good success.    I already have a few more i want to scout out this summer as well.

wow that does suck, sorry to hear bill. I'm not a char fisherman but do enjoy looking at the crews pictures. 

maybe i'll dig up some pictures from this past winter to post up.  i definitely got out enough this year!
