finally lifted the jinx!!

My brother was telling me last week that all the fishing and spearing he does he has a jinx. He cant get a pike over 30" he has had some close calls but it never happens. Today we went out and finally lifted the jinx. It was cool to see how excited he was to spear a 31" pike with a hammer forged spear I just made and a custom cisco I just carved for member Up-power. It was a great day the new spear has gone six for six in two trips, I really love my new spear.

went out today in the same hole and it was raining so hard the roof in the hub wouldn't stay up problem was I was using a center hole and when the 40" pike came in to the cisco decoy as I was watching a bass the spear handle hit the roof, so by the time I got it moved around slowly in the hole the beast was moving out before I could throw the spear he was out of sight. I may go back tomorrow, if I can sleep over the events that took place today.
