Went there today and it was pretty slow . Caught one brown and a few nice perch.

I have spent a lot of time on fairlee  in search of limits on trout. But I usually can expect 1 trout per outing or less. I would suggest fishing close to shore and I get most of my fish right under the ice. If you can find some structure to fish next to that works for me to
Come on get on the ice fish!!

Medium shiners is my choice and most others to. country boys bait shop has plenty of good bait The most popoular spot is directly across from the ramp all the way across the points are popular to, but heavily fished. I usually look for less holes in the ice personally

No I don't fish there often, in fact it was my first time going there but I know a few people that fish it often and they generally do pretty good. By that i mean a few trout a day. we caught ours at about 130 pm but had a few runs between like 830 and 10. Didn't get there to early. FYI country boys opens at 5 and the hits were all about 15 ft down, but they also get em near the top and a couple ft off the bottom.
