Hi, Just wondering if any one has any info on these lakes? My brother lives close to them but has never fished them before. Any info would be great thanks!

Weston has really slowed down the last few years for me anyways. There are some good perch in there but they are hard to come by now it seems. Ratfinkees tipped with wax worms seem to work the best. Deep creek is better you shouldn't have to much of a problem catching some decent rainbows just out from the boat ramp. I've only made it down there once this year and it was about three weeks ago. I caught eight between 12-20 inches in about four hours but my buddy that was with me got skunked. Also in that area is devils creek which has a lot of trout as well as some Kokanee in it and crowthers which also has trout.

Weston has big trout and big perch. unfortunately, i've never been able to catch any of the perch, and you have to be in the perfect place at the right time to catch the trout. otherwise, find the clearest water you can (the lake has oxygen problems during winter it seems, and the water can be milky and lifeless in some areas), live weeds are good, rocks can be good at times. your best bet is to get there early in the day and constantly move until you find the fish you want.

I fished Weston several times the first part of Jan. and caught a few perch each time but not many. They ran from 10 inches up to 12 1/2. I had to make two trips to end up with a good meal of fillets for the wife and I, never did catch any dink perch but did catch several large mouth which I released. I was thinking of trying it this Friday but not sure yet.
