Areas to fish?

Me and my dad are looking for some lakes to try within about 2-4 hours from Omaha. We just want to do some day trips and try some different lakes. Does anyone have any lakes they know of that have been good? Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

Wanahoo is fair.  Only 20 mins from Omaha.  Youngman over by Ready Mixed plant in Elkhorn you"ll catch plenty of fish too!  Good luck and be safe.   50 degrees on saturday...break out the speedos!!!!

Boji    North central iowa ,    Refuge lakes north central Nebraska would be my choice if I had 4 hours to travel .

Czechland, Timber Point, Summit, Wildwood to the north; Burchard, Owldorado, other Open Fields & Waters public ponds to the south.
