Yes I am from Wyoming. Those fish came from Big Horn Reservoir.

At least the ones I have eaten from around here are very good. Some guys call them poor mans lobster. I personally like to fry them but every now and then I like them cooked in butter.

Nice fish badsparky. Is Bighorn reservoir good fishing? I've drove past it in the fall while deer hunting but never stopped to fish it but I have seen some nice fish on the Wyoming board that came out of there.

Big Horn Reservoir has great fishing both from the ice and boating, there are quite a few different species that can be caught.

Thanks for the info spark. You guys have some incredible trout fishin out there. I love fishing the streams out there it's second to none

Ice fish as long as we have ice and fly fish the rest of the time. I spend a lot of time floating the rivers in the summer, but I wish our ice season was a little longer.

how thick was the ice on big horn?

It ranged from over 18" to 6". The thinner ice was found over the river channel.

I had 3 flags all day and ended up catching 2 fish a 24" ling and a 22" cat.
