I took 3 young fellows age 6, 7 and 10 year olds out on Wrightsville yesterday for some perch, pickerel and smallmouth action.
A couple of clowns were already set up when we came down the lake. We had a quick chat and they told me they
were trout and bass fishing. They said the lake was open trout water..  I told them no its open to fishing but strictly
catch and release on bycatch ie trout and bass. They mentioned first time out on that body of water.
Maybe want to check the regs?

I was told that if I were fishing waters that were closed to a certain specie of fish, and a warden asked what me what I was fishing for, not to mention that specie.
