South pass fishing?
« on: Jan 23, 2013, 09:22 PM »
Someone resently was telling me that there is somewhere on South  pass that is roughly fifteen miles in that has large trout and Macks in it....any truth to that? Would love to take a snowmobile for a day trip but very unsure of the true circumstance. Thanks for any insite of this remote spot.

Around that. They upped the limit because they were starving and looked like snakes. I've never fished it in the winter but it's a blast in a boat/inflatable. Limit out in 30 min. easy outta boat.  ;D

We talk about it every year but never do it. I'd like to do it sometime but I hate to buy a sticker for the ol Powder Special just for one trip.
