Late night preparations
« on: Jan 25, 2013, 11:17 PM »
My dad made me clean out the whole gear basket and put new liter and hooks on all the tip ups. Can't wait to head out tomorrow. Supposed to be nice out! What's your favorite food on the ice? Need something for lunch tomorrow
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.

Steak cheese, peppers, onions with a little Worcestershire sauce on some fresh baked sub rolls is on the menu for tomorrow...

Where you headed?
Life is good!

venison chili just got put in the tupperware... if this batch doesn't take the bite out of the cold this morning.... nothing will. We are heading to horseshoe to try for a species not typically caught through the ice.... not sure how it will go but figured it was worth at least one shot this winter!

Have you caught anything besides pickerel on naticook?  I have wasted a lot of bait there on them.
Some go to church and think about fishing, others go fishing and think about God

Yes bass but we usually don't go from the boat launch

Either through camp Sargent or the rope swing. Rope swing is where we usually where we catch some nice 2-3lbers.
