HAWG derby at Pathfinder

Hey guys, I am gonna be at the derby this weekend, I have never fished Pathfinder before and this is my first derby, I am excited! I will have my Honda Rancher 4 wheeler (camo) and will be driving a 2012 forest green F-350 with my Ice Shanty Militia sticker in the rear window, I have a black Frabill hut and somewhere will be my Militia Flag flying. I hope to meet some Shanty members out there so if you see me come say hi, I am probably not a threat to win the derby so come share some Pathfinder wisdom with me  I hope to see ya out there.

headed over there myshelf also. meeting some friends but well be my frist time at pathy too. buddy says he knows where to i hope so. we are going to camp out at the lake i will keep an eye out for ya. i can't wait to get there working night till firday morning then on my way. oh i have a rancher 4 wheeler orange in color.

Looking forward to seeing you all there. This is our year!!!! We have been the 5th and 6th place fish the last two years... no big money, just the hourly cash. However two years ago we did win an auger!!!! Awesome! The folks at the Pathfinder club put on a great derby! Looks like a warm and WINDY day for the tournament.

This is truely a great Derby,many chances for alot of people to win a little money and meet alot of people and win some great door prizes,I will be working it at the Diabase shelter hopefully weighing in your fish.come say Hi when your there.

hope you all did better than we did.   HAHA     only caught a few, and weighed in 3.   Largest was 2.84. AND   dam near lost a 4 wheeler up by the marina saturday morning.     Thank god the driver was alright!!

well made itover to the derby left the 4 wheeler key at home thank god for good friends. we had a ball at the derby caught a few fish was whith the winning fish group and it was great to see a kid when and a gril at that. making plans for next year.

Dam right lippy.   I would much rather see the little ones take the money than adults.   Thats the best thing in the world!!

Wow, what a great Derby this ended up being.It was a banner year for the club,I enjoyed working it and meeting some of you fellow shanty members,sorry I didn't have time to talk to all of you but as you seen we was busy most of the time.It was a great thing when that 13 year old girl came in with a 6.32 brown,nothing better than seeing a youngster with a grin from ear to ear. There was 5 or 6 4 wheelers reported to us that went threw the ice but no one got hurt and all machines were rescued as far as what we were told.The weather was fantastic but maybe just a little warm,it took its toll on the ice,hope we get some colder weather and get the ice back in good shape.
