I just crossed off two things....Custom built rustic log bed, and two custom red oak cabinets for the laundry room, been busy building this stuff for a few weeks...then ya know what she did.......put 3 MORE projects on it....

. Can never win I guess, she has the list right on the refrigerator, I better slow down, shes getting spoiled, two things crossed off in one month.

Yeah thats the plan the only problem she will see how much I can get done in one weekend and expect that every weekend. It's funny Trim and spackle will through my back out but a Gas auger and 20 or 3O holes wont.

Ill be ready next weekend.

Do you have a barn? Maybe a decent sized outbuilding? You want to section off a nice size area in there, insulate it, put in heat and lighting and move all your tools and equipment in there. Build yourself a workshop. This part is important now....DETACHED from the house. Mine is just far enough away that I usually use an ATV to get there in the winter. All those projects that need to be done are better done in the shop.

Didn't seem like anyone was whining, I'm thrilled with MY choice, that doesn't mean Mrs. Bcons doesn't drive me nutz sometimes.
Just this morning I was asked whats up with our explorer one of the kids wrecked. 2 mins later "I dont know what any of that means, I just want to know if it'll be fixed"
5 mins later, there she stands holding the Macys bag she & a friend brought home yesterday "you'll be happy to know the whope bag was on sale," 20 mins later after hearing all the details about designers, why they're great etc.
I learned a long time ago to let her "explain" but the thought did cross my mind "mother nature screwed me I coulda been cursing out an 8" hole with frozen snot stuck to my mustache"

Taking care of the list & watching football, wishing next weekend was here already

Got list completed today.... And reorganized gear again for next weekend . Always good feeling being an organized fisherman on the ice .

Im still trying to help her understand why I'm obsessed with this sport and it's a losing battle...being organized and prepared is the key to success for me on the ice, especially when we get real cold. I rarely even tie a knot out there anymore.

All the models I have looked at now dont say anything about a cold snap.....just normal temps.... $:-\$

The way things have been last winter and this winter normal temps are a cold snap!

pulled out the chain saw same engine as my mo' let her rip sounded like drillin through 10" of ice lol cut up some firewood for the coming cold

turned on the pond pump as everything thawed

washed car,cleaned out wood burner ok i'm ready
