Marcum Showdown Ice Troller Digital Fish Finder

Has anyone used a Marcum showdown ice troller digital fish finder? I am wondering if they are worth buying or if i should buy something else. Any info would be great Thanks Josh

I have one and like it. But for the money buy the big showdown, not much more after buying pack and battery. Larger screen, zoom, dual beam.

I have the troller 2.0 and will use it as I drill holes. and it is a good backup flasher  I already had the showdown duel beam and an LX5. I wanted something small that I could keep around my neck and use jumping hole to hole

I bought the Showdown dual beam last week and love it.  Easy to read and use.  I don't know how I fished without it.

I have the Showdown 5.6 and absolutely love it! It has increased my catch rate ten fold!!!

My brother uses a showdown troller and seems to like it a lot - he has a a pack for it for when he's not moving around quite as much.  This is my first season with electronics (picked up a used Marcum LX-3) and the difference between fishing with and fishing without is amazing.  A lot less guesswork on a lot of things.

I have not used my troller 2.0 and will start this weekend as ice looks like it will good. As I already stated I will use it when looking for fish. Once I find them I will move to my LX5.  I love my LX5 yet if you fish deep water than the showdown will go about 240 feet where the troller is only good for 120 and LX5 for about 160.   I tend to fish 15 - 60 feet and like it as jigging in 200 feet of water takes time to get up & down. 

Depending on where and what you are fishing for my influence the dissuasion on what is best for you.
