Looking into trying this lake sometime this weekend. I've never been here before and I was wondering if any of you could offer some advise to areas to target. Suggestions?? Thanks all

Sorry, not sure where that is!!  Guess I've not fished it, but I would be interested in hearing about it also!!

Been a few years since I've fished there, but seems to me we had good luck from the dam up to the boat ramp by the rangers office.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!!

They tried killing all the shad off this summer. I fished it last winter and would have been excellent for young kids to go and have a blast. Had limits of crappie and gills on the ice all about 4". The park ranger came over to B.S. And told me the lake was doing just fine. I knew better cause it wasn't my first time out. The county cons. Said this would help with the stunting. Did manage some nice gills. I'll see tomorrow what the real story is

There are huge gills in Hannen. We've caught numerous ones over 11 inches in the spring. I'm planning on making a trip there this winter. I bet the state record gill is in that little lake
