bass lake/pocket
« on: Jan 03, 2013, 06:37 PM »
Got out today at the pocket 3.5-4 in of ice held me fine no popping or cracking and I'm 275lbs. Very shallow drilled a bunch of hole deepest spot I found was bout 2 feet deep. Did manage to get a small bass and a descent gill but that was it not another hit. Couple other guys out further in the lake don't know how they did or how much ice there was out there. Be safe and good luck to everyone.

Last year, out on Hudson lake we fished the channel between to two lakes, and limited out on pike using tip ups, so shallow I had to take my sinkers off because the were still on the spool. I never would have guessed they would be in that shallow, but they sure were
