A Skunk and an Eye at the Gathering

Although it was a very slow day for our group and as far as I could tell a slow day for all at the Cove Gathering. It was a great time meeting fellow shanty members and a great time on the ice as usual. Thanks Capt. for putting it all together and the Pike streak continues for the gathering with the 2 caught today. As for us Budski and myself got the SKUNK. We did have a great stew made of moose and venison thanks to Budski. We got the shanty out for the rest of the season and the group did manage a few fish. Frank got a couple perch and a bass. Pat got a small bass. Did I mention I got the SKUNK ( 1st skunk on the ice for me in 3 years). Steve saved the day with a gathering first Cove Walleye. Came off in the dark to end the day.

Hey great meeting you also. Got to set up a 2nd tank in the cellar for the left over big baits. those things are great. Got to get together and fish sometime.
