I'm looking for that 18" crappie to put on the wall.
Had a 16 1/2 a while back...that I think about often...was some good crappie steak I guess!

last year you so called fisherman thought there might be a 16" gill in IN. if you fish other places than IN,you might find out a 47" pike an 32" eye are good fish but not even close to records. I think this site has to many beginners  good luck an good by.

No kidding, being that it was most likely a state record at that length.
This one is only 18", and it was 8-1/4 wide so image the hole you'd have to cut to get a 19-3/4":

Bait shop, I put the fish in the bait tank for 24 hours to make sure it would live, then released it back into the drink. I won't mount another trophy fish in my lifetime, to much respect for the fish I guess. No to say I won't mount a fish my daughters caught for a memory, but not a trophy fish... and I sure won't eat it. To each their own though!
