Seems my survival background always has me looking for multi survival tips.I use raisins for pan fish open or hard water.They are cheap,($0.20 a box)give them a little squeeze when putting on a hook or jig to release scent,plus if your in a survival situation you can eat them.On one of my survival outings I took no bait or equipment, I found waste line and a hook along the shore.For bait I used a booger and caught a fish,a box of raisins are easier to come up with than a box of boogers.....give it a try,works great
