Vacation Ice Fishing trip
« on: Dec 02, 2012, 11:40 AM »
Im planning a vacation fishing trip for a couple friends.  Id like to find a nice lake that would provide some pan-fish action in the Catskills.  Im not too familiar with lakes in that area.

Could someone point me in a direction?

Thanks

I agree with all of those, just be very careful if you go to the Esopus Creek...moving water gets sketchy

kb.....  In SULLIVAN COUNTY:   White Lake (in town of same name), Swinging Bridge Reservoir (off Route 17B), Lake Superior (Lk. Superior State Park), Lake Huntington (Cochecton).  Just Google "SULLIVAN COUNTY FISHING" for plenty of other waters.....  all have plenty of panfish.

kb. here's something you might look into. Go to Adirondack guide service, then hit Adirondack guide service long lake.

Pete has a three day ice fishing package at the lodge. I have been doing this for a number of years. Rooms and meals are include in the deal. It's a private lake so there aren't many people there. The lake has Pike, crappie, bass'pearch, bluegills.

any questions send me a pm.
