Ice Armor Bibs - Black bibs versus Blue Bibs

Managed to get a pretty big rip in my bibs this weekend. I currently have the blue ice armor suit. I havent seen anywhere where you can purchase just the blue bibs, it seems like you need to purchase the blue bibs and jacket. I have seen the black ice armor bibs and they seem like they have more unsulation that the blue set. The nice thing is you can purchsae just the bibs if I went with these. Does anyone know how the black bibs compare to the blue bibs?

Just to clarify, I'm not talking about the Cam Ice Armor Ultra black bibs for $250, I'm talking about the regular CLam Ice Armor Insulated ones that are black for $150

the black bibs are actually a little better then the blue edge bibs. the Blue edge suit (jacket and bibs) is not insulated at all thus you need to layer under it. the black bibs do have some insulation in them. in the suit line up you need to get the extreme or the ultra suit to get insulation. as for not being able to buy just the bibs or the jacket this is something I will be taking up with some of the higher level Clam Managers that I know and talk with. this question always comes up when I do in store work for Clam(I'm on their Pro Staff) and I too would like to see it that you can buy just one or the other by it self. they do this with the ultra suit so why not all of them. this is the point I will be making when I talk to them.

I found that there are 3 different black ice amor bibs for sale (nobody carried all 3 so it took some searching and comparing and some places were very misleading

Black uninsulated - ranged from $109 to $149, found at a few places
Black insulated - $149 - only found these at 1 place
Black Ultra insulated - $249 - found at a few places

Ended up going with the black insulated ones but had to go up 1 size from what my blue ones were, guessing it was due to the insulation
