A day on the river
« on: Oct 16, 2012, 04:55 PM »
75+ fish day and every fish was released even the eyes.  A few pics of some decent smallies. Theyre strapping on the feedbag. We got 2 really nice ones that we should have mounted.  Oh well they'll get bigger!
My editing its terrible sorry.

Caught some nice eyes too...

Weather permitting I'm going to be out Tuesday would sure like to get a mess of nice crappies for supper

I was on a bus and just happened to be sitting on a news paper. This guy came up and asked. "Are you reading that ?"
I said  yes, stood up, turned the page and sat back down.

Didn't know we had a river in the state with that much water.  Sounds like you had a fantastic day and thanks for the pictures.

Made it out today and ended up with a limit. Went down to Hooper pond south of indianola. Seemed to be a good bite till the sun came out about 12:30, only problem was leaving the duffell bag with my rain gear on the bench in the garage. Anyone wanting to meet up will be going back Saturday I hope pm me.

Some of the places we were fishing was 12+fow.  Still water just gotta kno where to find it ;D

Glad other people are getting out and getting into great fall fishing. Its 35 out now and getting colder time to fire up the auger and start having dreams about early ice.
