Made a trip to Sheels today.

Me and a buddy drove up to Sheels in Appelton today to look around and buy some stuff if we found it. I ended up comeing home with a Sheels sticker for the shack and a 60" fish tape sticker for in the shack as well. In all it was fin looking around and staying cool.

I bought some jigs there last month..... I ventured into the city to look around. I will go back when they have all their ice stuff out.

Nice town, that Appleton. Had a bunch of friends that lived there. Should stop by there some day again... never been to a Scheel's.

Naa, I was an 18 yo pup in love (puppy love) with a girl fom there that I met at a camp in Black River Falls, Wisc., that I went to every year...WCYC. Lots of the guys I made friends with at the camp were from Appleton, as were a bunch of girls. That was back in the very fun years of 71-73, when I was a junior and senior in high school. Sure miss those days...

Appleton is ok....too big for me! I rarely go further south then Green Bay....

I like Scheels, the closest to me is in Eau Claire. Last week I was in Nevada for work and they have Scheel's there with a full size ferris wheel in it. As you walk in there is a fresh water aquarium that is massive and across the stre from there is a salt water one just like it. There are mounts everywhere. If you are ever in Reno you need to go there and see it. Absolutely incredible.
