help on my Otter
« on: Nov 21, 2012, 04:40 PM »
Where my cover fastens to the tub, Theirs a couple places it doesn't want to stay clipped on.
Any idea what would work so it doesn't keep coming undone. It's a older Otter but brand new.

Word of warning, NEVER by a portable from someone that never has put one together before. All the longer extension poles where on one side. I'm sure that's what pulled it so tight that it stretched that tub clip apart.

WHAT A IDIOT!!!

You're right, some people shouldn't be allowed near tools.  Anyway, I think you can fix the problem by getting some thin 8/32 bolts and nyloc  nuts and washers, probably about 1 inch long.  Carefully drill through the clip material and tub and fasten them that way.  See if you can get stainless bolts/nuts and washers to prevent any rust.
