Howdy everyone!!! Not sure if ya guys remember me at all but i have been extremely busy these past couple years with being a new father to two beautiful kids and life in general. When i signed on here I was lookin at my old messages and really missed this community. Well life has slowed down some and its time to dust off the tackle boxes. Havent picked up a rod in years and i think its time to get back to enjoying my old past time and relieve some stress. Well im glad to be back fellas and im lookin forward to this upcoming season. Hope we can get a couple lines in the water soon. -Jay

welcome back strikemaster.  I have been in the same boat as you but was fortunate enough to get out some.  My additions are 1 and turning 3. 

You and I might be near each other as well.  I live near lake Ariel (well my address says lake Ariel) but I'm closer to Hamlin.

Maybe we can hook up some time or we'll see each other on the ice. 

You did not miss much last year in this area.  lots of open water and thin ice for most of the season  so don't feel to bad

Bart,  Your right I guess it is a little out dated.  I think the redskin logo will be the same this year because I have come to expect nothing but that from them and i have this sinking feeling that The Farm has been spent and is going to be foreclosed on.

Thanks a mill wiley. Funny ya said that cuz i went out to walmart and bought my son his first Cars push button pole hahaha!!! Hes only 19 months old but i might as well stock him up now lol

Heck at that age he can hold it push the button just tie on the plastic fish it came with or a bobber and let him have at it in the yard. Gotta start them early

Maybe I'll see you guys on the ice sometime since I live in Madisonville.  I know how busy two little ones can keep you and all the joy they can bring.  I have two daughters, one is two and the other is four months old.  I can't wait until they are big enough to go fishing.

You're not kidding about how fast kids grow up.  I can't believe my oldest is two already and boy oh boy is she smart, knows all here ABCs and can count to 16 without any help.  I'm all excited about taking the kids hunting and fishing but what I wish more is they would stay small for a while.  It just goes by WAY TOO FAST.
