In a bit of a delema, i love the Lx-7 and how it performs. but, i also need a camera, i also like how the Showdown 5.6 unit(s) are too. What do you guys think? I think im gona get the Lx-7 ( i can get for 500$ ) and thinking about getting the vs625 ( 385$ )... What do you guys have to say? Like any comments about the products, any issues?
Thanks.

I got the chance to see the 825SD in action last winter and I was really impressed with the ease of operation and the picture quality even in murky water !

I know it's not much help and I'm sure it's going to cost a pretty penny - but hey, why not get both in one.  LX-9 - get the flasher and camera.

me and my buddy split the price of the 625sd and that thing is sweet! allowed me to catch many walleye that i never felt hit my light jigging pole with 2lb but i watched em suck it up barely. its cool to see whats actually swimming around and how they react. i will also be selling my humminbird ice 45 and getting an lx7. those machines are the cats ass

would rather see them use their resources (time, talent, treasure) to clean up the problems with what they already have on the market...

No matter what marcum electronics are best out there. I got both cams vs625sd and vs825sd both sweet. Lx7 is awesome. I would say get the Lx9 and then you got a awesome flasher and camera all in one.  I know I will have one.

Get the LX9. Rumor has it that it is a 2-1 system. Camera and sonar.

Personally some separation in electronics is better to me. I have an Lx5 and an 825sd and each sure their purpose. Best part is if I have a friend that is in need of a unit I can gladly share my less perferred unit. As for GPS. When we go to a lake we havent' been to for a bit and want to get to our old spots it's typically nicer to have a smaller handheld unit in the truck and a sonar.

If the cost difference justified it great, but in many situations the separation is cheaper and even if it were slightly more I don't think I'd change. Not to mention if one thing breaks your totally screwed on an all inclusive unit.

Just my .02
