Don't screw with Champlain... Just my opinion though. Was out on pretty bad ice Tuesday on one of the bays that usually holds ice the longest. 10" of ice and when you would punch a hole you could kick through the top 5" and the bottom few inches would shatter before you got through. Not much space for good ice in between.
Can't tell you about Carmi though. There is still ice around us here bud!
