thinkin of an early campin/rv trip ?? .. found an awesome campground right outside Minneapolis couple years ago .. Lake Auburn is the name .. quiet area .. large playground equipment .. volleyball ..  not far drive from Waconia and Minnetonka .. all depends on time of year you are heading up .. i go up every Spring to lay the law down on monster crappies .. good times ..

'Hey Jumbo how are ya?  Hate to be a fun hater but If I wasn't going to Minnesota today, I would hit the lakes and ponds.  The water temp should be high enough for very good action.   lots of crappies are being caught in ponds right now.  Lake superior  streams might be good  for steel head. but am not sure.  What ever you end up doing have a great vacation, and be safe. ;D ;D

I will ask the wife when were planning to leave . I have never been to the dells but heard its real nice . Is there a nice RV park up there she said might want to take trip up there this summer when things slow down I work on commercial and residential air conditioners . That s the other reason I cant go anywhere during spring break its been 80-85 and humid down here in southern iowa crazy weather screwing up my whole year LOL but need the money

Just returned from spring break on the Texas Coast. 6 and 11 yr old caught small perch and drum, 20 to 28 inch red fish and 3 - 40 to 50 lb black drum. They will never forget this one! Had a blast!

Sounds like the kids will have something to talk about for a long time . Salt water fishing is a great time I went once and caught some barracuda 56"-48" and amber jacks 80-140lbs those fish can wear you out. Those kinda trips last a life time . Great job
