Alton Bay Kids Derby Results

I got to take my 10 year old sister and my father out ice fishing for their first time today. The action was very slow, and thankfully we put out our cusk lines for a few hours as they were the only device that happened to produce a fish.  She landed a 17.5" cusk, which isn't anything special but was enough for her to win the fishing derby! She took home a trophy with a huge smile on her face; and our picture was taken by contributors/photographers for the local newspaper. It was great to see how excited she was to learn she had the biggest fish of the day. She told me she can't wait for next year to do it all again.. So watch out boys; you've got some future competition!  ;D
