Underwater Burbot Footage

Was out this weekend and decided to hook up the dvr for a bit to record some burbot action. Keep in mind I am really not that bad of a fisherman, I was just messing around for some footage. ;D

Also your probably thinking that I edited the 4 minutes from the whole day but I only had the dvr plugged in for 17 minutes. Lots of burbs swimming around down there. Enjoy!

Sorry for the mediocre quality but the dvr makes the video pulsate a little and makes the quality a fair bit worse for some reason.

that is very cool i never even heard of a burbot till i joined this web site. are they any good to eat? ???

Yes, if you deep fry them or you can boil them in saltwater, then dip them in butter they are delicious.

Neat video footage, you had a good number of them around you, must have found where they spawn. :)

I also enjoy fishing for and eating burbot. :tipup:
If anyone likes cod in fish and chips, you will like burbot, they are freshwater cod.
