How is the fishing? Where is the best places to catch panfish and walleye/northerns?

I live about 30 minutes away and fishing had been extremely slow the last two times I was out there.  Hopefully the slush is froze up now and the snow settled out because the last time I was there we watched some trucks get stuck and the quad was pretty much useless unless you stuck to a trail.  If you can find a pocket in the weeds you will find some fish but they have been running very small.

Thank you, got a contour map. Staying on the NW side of lake. Is the better fishing on the southern portion by the deepest part. Looks like a good break there. We are coming up this Thursday. Hopefully, the problem with the slush will be tightened up by then. Thought I read something re-guarding the size limit on Pike on this lake. Thought there were no minimun size restrictions. Is this true? Thanks, all help appreciated.
