a couple weeks ago at the finger lakes outlet mall in waterloo there was one on the light pole. alot of people came from all over to see it, a guy with a telescope was there he said the bird had been camped out at that mall for a couple weeks.

We had one up in Fenner a couple of years back. My brother came up and took a bunch of pics. He made the syracuse paper and tv 5 website. His camera took incredible pictures plus we lured the owls in to get good pics. So if you are interested in incredibly clean, clear pics, pm me and I'll contact my bro and see if he can email them over to me and I'll forward them to you.

That owl was probably living off seagulls, aka dump chickens, lol. I saw a Snowy Owl once on Oneida Lake while ice fishing. At first I thought it was someone's marker. I kept heading for it and as I got closer he flew off aways and landed on the ice again. What a beautiful sight. I wish I had thrown him a perch or two.

Great pics. I'd love to see them if they were near Saratoga/Albany  this winter.

I've seen a couple of articles about them. I want to see one. Deer hunting last fall in Maine, two evenings in a row, in completely different locations, I had a barred owl light on a branch within 10 ft. over me (different owls). Owls are cool!

Had one sitting on the ladder rack of my truck after coming out of the swamp at perch river WMA after duck hunting. It was neat to watch him . We sat there until he was ready to leave.
