Hudson Lake 1-26-12

PlGot out to Hudson Lake with a friend today. We drilled a lot of holes and only had one flag. But it was fun learning another lake. Talked to some others and they weren't doing any good either. Did see an eagle that that was cool.



We decided to jump to a private lake for the afternoon and he got into some perch and one dandy. Congrats Joe!





Here's me playing with my new camera. Trying to stay away from the gills to get the perch!!! LOL!!

I had a blast out there today.  We must do it again.  The perch are in trouble now Mike.

Hudson had about 6" of ice.  Cloudy and lots of fissures and a little bit of open water at one end.

Went out there around noon, started off out by the island, then ended up in the channel and got these. Bass was 17", biggest pike was 32"

Nice catch and I see you have a floatation suit on...I'm curious how you like it.

love it, it floats, it is so warm i have to unzip it when we move, and it is very water proof.

Stacy you getting those on tip-ups?  I remember you saying you never had any luck chasing flags.  Looks like you have figured something out.  Stay on em.

Yeah, they were all on tip-ups. I wouldn't say i figured much out, we just happened to stumble upon the fish
