minnows
« on: Jan 25, 2012, 11:01 AM »
Is there still a sporting good store on the south side of CY avenue in Casper about a block west of the CY and Poplar intersection? If there is, do they still sell minnows?

THANKS

Yes, its rocky mountain discount sports, but their minnows are pretty small, if you are heading west towards Alcova or pathy, I would stop by Sloans in Alcova. ALOT better. OR you can stop in a see the guy at Timberline Sporting goods on CY between Walmart and paradise Valley, he usually got good minners.

Don't go to Rocky Mountain Sports for anything. Worst sporting goods store in the world IMOP. Had a run in with the store manager in October over some boots. Won't do business with them ever again. Plus they don't give you what you ask for. If you ask for 2"-3" minnows, you get all small less than 1" and half die on you before you get to use them. Ask for large ones and they will tell you they don't have the time to count and pick through all of them. They have more important things to do then wait on a customer. They just throw in what ever they feel like. I would try Timberline first and see what you think since it is on the way out to Alcova/Pathinder, plus he will do his best to give you what you ask for. If you don't like the minnows there you can hit Sloans for sure. They will give you what you ask for as well. Depends on how picky you are on your minnows.

Now the real question is where do you get shads around here?
