Anyone here anything being caught up on monksville? I heard that some people were out there for the past few days. Was thinking about heading up that way.

Alot of people fishin only a few catching 2day. I brought home the skunk. 2 to 4 inches in the north end shallows. L

Alot of pickeral were caught out there today. The bluegill bite was pretty good today, all the 3-5 inchers you could ever dream of. I was with the group of Maniacs that had the little bonfire going!!! ;D

I got out there for a little bit late this afternoon. It was good to see several others out there fishing. Didn't get anything on the tip-ups but did manage to jig a bunch of blue gill.

the ice did thin out fairly quickly as you walked toward the bridge, went from 4inches to about 2-2.5 inches within fifty or so feet. I was there for about two hours, didnt get anything on tip ups but landed a nice perch that went 12.5 inches and lost another at the hole that was roughly the same size. Had a few more sniffs but no other commiters on the jig. Was nice to get out but unfortunatly this will probably be the only outting i have this year given the weather and school.
