you can only sell gamefish in new york that have no length requirement or closed season.  so no you cant sell crappie.  perch, pans, heads are it.  the buyer will have length requirements though

Dude, bring em up to my place if you guys have too many fish! I'll eat 'em.
Honey's does still buy fish. I just can't bring myself to part with my catch.
Stop in and talk to him before you try bringing him any fish. He'll make sure you guys are kosher and up to speed on the regs.

Honey's in Whitehall and Norm's in Crown Point buy perch.

$1.50 to $2.00 per lb for 9 inches and up.   Male perch, if you should get into them, bring the higher price.

Tell him to release them, does anybody ever think of that method?

do  what  you want  with yours  i'll do  as i wish with mine  either  way  is  moral, ethical ,traditional ..

why is  it if i shoot a  legal  deer  and donate  it i'm a  sportsmen and helping in game management , but if i sell a 6  inch sunfish  i have to hear  from elitist  about catch and  release?????
do  we  have  any  more  of  the peta  membership  forms????

I was a commercial fisherman for 20 years. Maybe longer.  When I saw bucket fulls of 6'' perch getting sorted and sold, it made me sick. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS ? How can anyone sit on fish like that all day and not move ? GO LOOK for better fish......   Grumble.... grrr ... grrr
