Jiffy -What year?-what H.P.?
« on: Feb 04, 2005, 11:51 PM »
I have an older 8" Jiffy Ice Drill that is probably 20 years old . how do you find out how old and what HP it is .
The only # that I can find on it is 670-103-9304
After reading all the posts here I think that I will start using premium gas and synthetic Opti 2 oil (100/1)....is this oil available in Canada?
I already use a Champion RJ 17LM spark plug .
Lots of good info on this site ...Thanks Guys .

Opti2 is available in Canada.  In Alberta, Husqvarna dealers carry it.  It is available in pouches, for 5 litres or 10 litres, and the usual measured bottles.  I find it most convenient to use the small pouch.  That way, my fuel is never stale.  I might add, that Opti2 has a stabilizer in it, and quite compatible with ethanol blended gasoline.  Check out Opti2 on the web for more information and a toll free number to find your closest dealer.(just enter Opti2 in the browser bar)  You might find that Bosch or NGK plugs are superior to Champion.
