Hi guys,

I search a method for use dead minnow.For trout and laker.Do you use only 1 hook or you use trailer hook???I would like to know the best set up.

I only use a #16 treble hook with a 10 ft. leader on my tip-ups for lake trout. I have also used the rib cage from perch after filleting them out. I just lay it on the bottom. The Lake trout will find it. When the LT is running, just pinch the line. It will set the hook. You don't need a monster hook. The LT don't feel a #16.

Bonjour mon ami, il est bon de vous entendre à nouveau David.
 
Here is a diagram of different locations where to put the hook in a bait fish. Most time Lakers will try to grab the bait by the head if they can, so I use the back hooked method and I have had good luck hooking that way.
