ice starting to get bad

well hit my local honey hole man the ice is starting to go had about 5-6 inches on sat now it was down to 3-4 inches with a couple spots only holding 2 1/2 kept 10 gills and 6 crappies yesterday and 10 gills and 4 crappies today well may try to go out tomorrow but don't know for sure need to start getting the boat ready for Alabama

That does not sound good I wanted to hit it this weekend.

well depending on the weather it may hold up to the weekend just don't go all the way to the north south end to 3/4 north had mostly 4 and hard the last 1/4 from the north tube to the east tube was any where from 3-2 and getting soft

Crystal lake still has 4-5 good inches on it. Was out for the morning bite. lots of gills a few pumpkin seeds and  some crappie. Hope for some more cold weather.

With the amount of rain we got tonight I think it's time to put the Ice fishing equipment away for the season.    Then get the walleye gear ready for the river.

ya we got some rain but not as much as you guys down south did I am going to take a drive in a little bit to check out the pond but I may be done I am getting a cold plus have to get my boat and rods ready because a leave down south in about a week
