beaver dam lake
« on: Jan 07, 2012, 08:05 PM »
Me and my buddy coming up north next week from NE Illinois. I was wondering if anyone has been to beaver dam lake or maybe even wind lake. Been rough so far this year down here. It gets cold for a few days then the temp goes right back up to the high 40's. Thanks!!

I was there the other night and the fish are moving around now.  It is not like it was 2 weeks ago. You'll have to put some work in now to find some big eye's

If you can find a place to park.  I was out last night, what a circus.  This lake is in my backyard (bout a mile drive to the boat landing) and I've never seen this many people out there.  And yes the fishing has slowed dramatically.  Still action to be had but pulling up a keeper is a lot harder than it was even a week ago.

I'm sure you guys are getting pounded by us without ice. We don't mean to crowd. We're going crazy with no ice here.  ;D
