Congrats!!! Cold here no lock up yet. Hoping for ice by next week. Hopefully the warmer temps this weekend doesn't slow the ice down.

I think it will be ok tomarow low 30 for highs below frezzing at night  is what we need it makeing ice now it 20 out now.

I seen some lakes skimmed over today even gull....would be good in a couple of days if real cold. Looks like it may be a teaser....forty again in a couple days. I want to be optimistic though!

Checked several lakes after work, things are looking good. There was more than skim in most cases.

I seen a lot of small spots locked up with some beautiful black ice. There was no snow on some of them so its looking good hopefully the warm weather stays away till march. North of Baldwin might have ice I was up there last week and there where a few lakes with ice already and it has been cold up there.

You can tell the "Super Secret Lake" perch apart from others very easily...
They wear sunglasses to conceal their identities and wear no distinguishing marks.
