Did some trolling yesterday...

The wind started a blowing, and away I went! LOL. My denali was fine with 2 people sitting on the sled, but as soon as my buddy stepped outside, I went for a helluva ride.
Managed to grab the heater as I took off, and saved the canvas from serious meltdown. Anyone else brave the wind yesterday? Fishing was slow, but nice to finally get out. There was about 7 - 9 inches on the lake we went to in Hastings. After our little debacle, it was quite humerous watching others try and get their shacks setup in the wind and watching them chase the suckers all over the ice. Hoping to get the boys out this coming weekend in the new fatfish pop-up and start catching some fish!!

Minntrapper, that brings back memories,,, My brother and I were fishing this slough that was pretty good in size. It was nothing but glare ice and was blowing mach 4 that day. I had a flip over while my brother had this 4x6 shappel thing. I get done setting mine up and turned around to see him standing in the door laughing his ass off while zipping across the ice by me. he must off went 100 yards I bet. I never laughed so hard in my life, I might of even peed a little.

I saw a husband and wife do that on monday...standing in their big ol clam...headed right for us! Luckily they stopped 10' shy of plowing thru my denali flip over. They gave up and went home LOL. There was another guy who decided to move his permanent down the ice 50 yards, to have the wind blow it right back to where it started while he yelled for it to stop. That one had me rollin
