Epping and trenton lake
« on: Feb 14, 2011, 12:18 PM »
Went to trenton lake on sunday morning caught one 2-3 lb northern in two hours.  Left there went to epping for rest of day.   Seen fish all day on camera.  Lots of perch and northern.  They were really hard to bite would be all around and wouldnt hit anything.   Any suggestions on what to try.

A bad day of fishing with your dog, beats any day of doing HONEYDOS.

Went out last weekend on epping had two to three inches.  Caught six perch and one northern was fairly slow.  Fished 4-5 hours.

Was out Saturday seen around six other groups.  Fished in two different parts of lake.  Caught two little northern and around forty perch. Not as big of perch as last year.  Will try this weekend then heading to Casper for Christmas and fishing.

Might be heading out that way from Worland, WY. Legerski knows where I'm talkin.  :)  Might have to pick up my little brother out there, sounds like my dad and I might be making a stop off at epping. Sounds like it's hit or miss. Any size on the perch out of there?  Really wouldn't mind catching a few northern, there's very little opportunity to do that in Wyoming!
How do you catch a polar bear? Make a hole in the ice, and put peas all around the edge... When he comes to take a pea, kick him in the ice-hole.

How were the ice conditions?  It can't be good with 50 degrees today and all the wind.
