Did anyone else see the post on Fish Explorer about the new signs at Jefferson?  Apparently they are not allowing snowmobiles or any other machines on the lake.

Dosent suprise me.
Every knucklehead on Fish Exploiter talks about how they are taking their ATV's and Razor's up there even after being warned that they are not allowed. You would be a fool to think that the DOW and Forrestry Service don't read the websites! It was just a matter of time.

I heard that we will be able to park our snowmobiles in the lot / boatramp and just have to drag out onto the ice by hand.

Supposedly it is just the lake surface itself.  Apparently the city of Aurora owns the water rights and it is their rule.
