Merrit ice

Does anyone have any info on how the ice is on Merrit? Was wandering if its possible to get on the boardman area yet.

I was ip there last weekend and the ice didn't look good to me. The springs were still flowing along the shore with open water! I know a couple of guys have tried it, but I know I would not recommend it yet!!!
