I fished at jamestown docksyesterday was 49 degrees and was like a day in the spring!!! Its gona be awhile like after Christmas before anyone walks on water at pymatuning!!! Also fishing at the docks was slow a few dink perch.

Man that sucks!  We always end up walking forever off of tuttle I just figured a wheeler would speed up the project.  I have never ice fished conneaut lake but I think I'll give it hell atleast a few times this year.  Or atleast for vantassels tourney.

For some reason i thought i read that you can't drive anything on ice in PA (Snowmobile, 4wheeler, car, truck)... Is there any truth to that?

locals say there is a baitshop at tuttle run by a lil old lady she sells fatheads with dark black heads the locals killum she cant count so it seems everyone is happy  ::) also is there access to fish at spillway i'm going nutz

Mo, the river is still open. The dock bite is on, and you can fish the causeway as well as the spillway. No sense in sitting around waiting for ice when there's open water and the fish are still biting.

any lake run by the Fish and Boat Commission or the army Crops of Engineers you can't. Waters privately owned its is up to the owners as to the rules on them

talked to two guys at espyville outdoors that were going to try under the causway bridge on the pa side with some med fatheads they just got . i didn't tell them that the waves were crashing up on the concrete abuttments :whistle: :whistle: :whistle: >:D

last night was a start i could not see any open water up to bay 41 and down to the dam. cold nights and warm days coming. it might turn out OK.
