World's Best Grilled Cheese (for Adults)
« on: Dec 17, 2011, 12:15 PM »
Ok, so this is not your regular grilled cheese.  It is funny how resturants will try to improve a kids grilled cheese.  One of my daughters is the kids grilled cheese expert and its hard not to laugh when she tells the waitress that they don't know how to make grilled cheese.  We all know the kids classic grilled cheese is that fluffy white bread with American Cheese.  So here is my Adult Grilled Cheese

Honey Wheat Grilled Cheese

Ingredients:
(2) Slices of Whole Grain Honey Wheat bread
(1) Slice of Cheddar Cheese
(1) 12 oz bottle of  Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss

Directions:
Seriously  ???  I think we all got this part.

Enjoy!  And if you are sensitive to wheat like me, I have not been able to come up with an alternative yet.  The Udi's Gluten Free bread is good, but not a Honey Wheat.

When it's cold out and your sick nothing's better than Tomato soup and a good grilled cheese.

I'll share a little secret: I mix a shot of Jack into a couple of tablespoons of horse radish mustard (Grey Puppon is my favorite). Spread this on the bread, before putting the cheese on. Then lightly butter the bread before broiling. YUM!

Di Lusso has this Chipotle Mustard that is really good.  Slap on a few slices of honey ham as well!
