Mobridge Ice Tournament
« on: Dec 05, 2011, 06:54 PM »
Anyone going?  I hear my team and 4 other teams now.  I guess friend from Mobridge is putting his shack up by Singing Bridge when ice good.  Anyone been up there to check at all?

It is -4 right now so that is good for ice.   I fished the singing bridge last year during the tournament.

Was just at the singing bridge in Mobridge today.  Ice by the Indian Memorial ramp but main lake still open.  Many bays starting to freeze over.
I fish because...
my wife lets me.

We were west of it last year.  Too many shanty's right on the bridge for me.  Think guy that pulled the big walleye was up past the water treatment bridge.

i went the first 4 years before it became the huge thing it is now. Now i can't get my application in in time. We stayed at the East Side and let's just say there were some LATE nights in that place.

We had a room reserved for 10 months at the lovely Mo-Rest Motel.  Clean n cheap.  We were team 66 I think n were registered by  2 minutes after it opened.

Going for the first time this year.  Pretty excited, hopefully we can get on some good fish.  Had a heck of a time finding a motel room in the area.

I'll be there again this year.  Can't wait!  The Mobridge Chamber does an awesome job with this Tourney!  I'm already worried about getting in next year!

Have to just sit at the computer and have info ready as soon as it opens up.  Sucks that early though
