laker bounce bait

Can anybody tell me the name of the lure/baitholder that has a metal base and clip or two to hold a piece of smelt or bait. You basically bounce it on the bottom like deep water ocean fishing. There was link on the forum for the manufacturer a couple years ago.

I think what you're looking for is a lure called a beetle. We use them on lake superior in deep water on wire line. Check out www.outdoorallure.com.  Hope this helps
